My whole life I have felt that people deserved to be heard. They deserved to be treated fairly… I was always sticking up for someone. Ask my parents, it got me in trouble more times than not in my teenage years.
I have also been interested in how other people live. I always wished I had the courage and means to travel the globe and see the world from the view of everyday people. If you have read my
Convinced Otherwise post, you will understand my position.
Recently, I figured if I couldn’t travel the world, I would gather the world instead. I decided to begin a blog that would be the Voice of people living all over the globe.
So in March 2012,
Global Voice Blog was launched. We currently have four Contributor Authors representing the northeast, northwest, and midwestern regions of the United States, as well as South Africa.
I hope to increase that representation to every area of the world.

I know, I know… you’re thinking just another page. Our plan is that it becomes more than “just another page.”
It becomes a platform that leverages the common humanity of everyone living all over the world. It will be a collaborative effort of the Global Voice Authors, covering information from their perspective of living in their regions, as well as tackle difficult issues.
In my opinion, we will not be doing our job, unless we help to draw attention to those who do not have a Voice. Those who because of circumstances beyond their control, their human rights are being violated.
Our page will be a place to collaborate with our fans on solving problems and resolving issues regarding these violations. You can also expect posts that are more lighthearted and inspirational, and ones that provide information from the regions of our Global Voice Authors.
I hope this movement becomes more than I can possibly dream, a place for all people of every race, nationality, gender, creed and background to be heard.
