Now that you know why I'm doing this, I just have to say a few more things before you watch.
Do I really sound like that!!??
And those glasses... oy vey. There is a story behind them. Most of my money is spent on my family, one way or another... almost never on myself. It's a mother thing, I think. So one day, I decide I am going to buy myself a hipper, newer pair of sunglasses, just for me! Isn't it my luck, I lost them within a week of buying them! So I went back to my old, can't get lost if I tried sunglasses.
Now enjoy the show....
Ok... now that you have seen it, I need to add a some more information. I don't think that's the purpose when you Vlog, but heck, I'm living outside the box now.
A million jobs... Yes really. No exaggeration. I failed to mention the one where I am a Family Manager (I honestly listed this as my occupation on the Town Survey, when I was a SAHM) and a Research Associate in the field of Child Development and Human Relations, and everything that entails!
Also, although I work a million jobs, my kids can never shake me! I am so grateful and feel so blessed to have the job at the school. You see, I stayed at home with my children while they were infants and toddlers, up until the point my youngest child was in school full days. Then, by the grace of God, this job opened up at the school. The same school/district my children attend. This allowed me to make some money, while still being on the same time schedule they are. When they have a school vacation week, I have a school vacation week. When they have a snow day, I have a snow day. It has given me the opportunity to still be with them, when I need to be.
In conclusion, I'm not sure I will Vlog on a regular basis... because as you can see, I still write, within my Vlog. That may be against the rules... not sure, but I think so.
What will you be doing to grow... the thing that gets you out of your comfort zone?
Please share it with us in the comments. Encouraging us on our path to "BE" who we truly are!
You are way braver than I am. No way will I vlog about me...maybe my kids, but not me. You ROCK!
ReplyDeleteThanks Becky... it was definitely a "coming out of my box moment." I hate to be in front of the camera. Thanks for stopping by too!
ReplyDeleteLove this...the funny thing is when I "splurge" on myself it is always Spring time with a funky pair of sunglasses that my husband and kids look at me like "you spent money on those?" :-)
